Weekend lodgers
This weekend we welcomed Barney and Toby into our home for some home pet care, the kids loved having two bouncy boys to visit.
Toby is a bit mad on sticks, Barney also tried to join in but really didn’t have much of a chance.

He did enjoy a swim in the Bollin though.

As much as Barney didn’t stand a chance, the sticks had a worse time….

We also visited Sale Water Park on Saturday, Barney is looking fairly regal here, Toby is looking for a stick no doubt and Jamie is just looking for some attention from the dogs.

Toby’s favourite kind of stick, tiny and chewed up!

Red
We’re welcoming another new pooch to the pack today, her name is Red and she’s a stunning looking lab, pics to follow of course!
Rain
Caught me yesterday, the thunder scared poor Jess as well and I ended up carrying a scared, wet dog to the car. It also made me realise my elderly cagoule isn’t as waterproof as it once was.
We did manage to find a tennis ball though and we had fun playing “don’t let the dogwalker have the ball back”
C’mon Jess, give me a go!!

Jess
Hi, another Monday and the weather is not in a dog walkers favour today.
This afternoon we’ll be welcoming Jess, a Labrador cross who looks like a really lovely addition to the pack, photos will follow.
Fingers crossed the rain lets off a bit!
Wythenshawe Park
Was the destination today with Barney and Roxy, we did a complete lap round the park and it was looking good! A few big puddles after the storms on Tuesday night but otherwise ok.
It’s really heartening to see the work being carried out on the Hall, Hopefully it’ll be as good as before the fire when they’re done.

Posing for photos isn’t one of Roxy’s strong points, too much stuff to look at I think!

Barney led the pack as usual.

Barney & Roxy
Long walk today for these two, round Sale Golf Club, along the Mersey then to Chorlton Water Park for a well deserved dip of the paws in the water to cool down before heading back for home.
They were both extremely excited to see me when I first got to their home, and even more excited to hear their leads being taken out!
Barney is a lovely Staffie, really good natured and wasn’t bothered by the cyclists, joggers or even the horse rider we came across.

Roxy is a Staffie/King Charles cross who is a bit more reserved than Barney (not when it came to enthusiasm for walkies mind you!) but again, she was not put off by anyone or anything for her walk!

Contact me for information on how your dog could be coming some great walkies with us!
